The Grindstone Comedy Festival

Grindstone Theatre Society presents the 4th annual Grindstone Comedy Festival from Wednesday, July 5th - Sunday, July 9th, an independent stand-up, improv and sketch comedy festival, hosted at Edmonton’s Grindstone Theatre which brings both national performers and rising local talent together under the Edmonton spotlight. The festival also includes the Stand-Up Stand-Off Competition, Open Mic, late night parties, workshops from some of the featured guests, and more! Featuring performances from major Canadian comedy headliners such as Scott Thompson as Buddy Cole (Kids In The Hall), Nikki Payne (Much Music’s “Video on Trial”, NBC’s “Last Comic Standing”), Neema Naz (@neemanaz on TikTok), Ken Hall (Umbrella Academy, Canadian Comedy Award Winner), and Jarrett Campbell (JFL, Juno Nominee, Roast Battle Canada ), each will have local comedians opening and hosting their shows.
