What makes things “sad, glad, and very, very bad?

Sally and Timmy are being read a bedtime story. They fall asleep pondering the question, “What makes things sad, glad, and very very bad.” They are awakened by none other than the Cat in the Hat who transports them to Whoville to find an answer to their question. There they meet all the Seuss-world characters including, Horton, Sam I Am, The Onceler and Lorax, Cindy Lou Who, and of course the Grinch (who is very very bad.) This fun and magical show has flexible casting and is sprinkled lightly with 60’s pop music, like All Together Now, If You Want It Here It Is, You’re a Mean One Mr. Grinch, and Michael Jackson’s BAD! A lovely moral lesson answers their question, but it raises another!
