Contact & Hours
THE LIBRARY IS OPEN!
We are now open for winter hours, which are 10 am to 3pm, Tuesday to Saturday. On Saturdays, enter the building through the back door and sign in with security. Use the closest elevator and come to the 3rd floor – the library is right beside the elevator!
We are available for Monday and Tuesday evening appointments – from 5-8 pm. So if you’d like to come to the library on a Monday or Tuesday night, contact the librarian (or phone: 780-422-8162) at least a week in advance, please and we will be here for you to come in.
Other Theatre Alberta staff are still transitioning into working at the office, so if you want to reach anyone in particular, please continue to reach out via email.
We will continue to circulate Library items via Canada Post for all Theatre Alberta members. Browse the catalog online, reserve some books, and we’ll send them out to you! And please don’t forget to check out the amazing Drama Online databases available to all members!
If you’d like to contact the Library please email email@example.com or leave us a message at 780-422-8162

- Loan period: 28 days
Theatre Alberta will mail items to those members residing anywhere in Canada. Mailing and return postage is free to members.
Overdues and Fines / Lost Items
Late fees on overdue items will no longer be charged after September 1st, 2020, and all previous fines will be waived, as long as you are current member of Theatre Alberta.
When you take out books, you may renew them up to five times, unless an item that you have taken out has been requested by another member. If a member has requested an item that you currently have out, you will not be able to renew the item. Renewals of checked out items still need to be made by members through their online accounts or by the librarian.
If you have not returned the item after the fifth renewal, your Theatre Alberta membership will be suspended until the book is returned or replaced. A book may be replaced by paying a $25.00 replacement fee, or by providing a clean copy of a published script for the library collection. Please contact the librarian: firstname.lastname@example.org should you wish to provide a script.
By logging into your account, you can:
- see what you have checked out and when items are due
- reserve or renew items

- keep a list of items you have checked out
