LIBRARY LENDING POLICY
- Book Limit: 10 items
- Loan period: 28 days
Theatre Alberta will mail items to those members residing anywhere in Canada. Mailing and return postage is free to members.
OVERDUES and FINES / Lost Items
Late fees on overdue items will no longer be charged after September 1st, 2020, and all previous fines will be waived, as long as you are current member of Theatre Alberta.
When you take out books, you may renew them up to five times, unless an item that you have taken out has been requested by another member. If a member has requested an item that you currently have out, you will not be able to renew the item. Renewals of checked out items still need to be made by members through their online accounts or by the librarian.
If you have not returned the item after the fifth renewal, your Theatre Alberta membership will be suspended until the book is returned or replaced. A book may be replaced by paying a $25.00 replacement fee, or by providing a clean copy of a published script for the library collection.
By logging into your account, you can:
- see what you have checked out and when items are due
- reserve or renew items
- look up fines information
- create and save your own book lists
- save your search histories to use again
- keep a list of items you have checked out
- submit new contact information
- suggest a play title to be added to the library
Group memberships: The two contacts specified on your membership may borrow items from the library. Written authorization is required to change contact information.
