It has been our practice to automatically subscribe Theatre Alberta members to Theatre Buzz when they join our society. Earlier this year, we implemented an option in our membership form for new members to subscribe or not. We do not remove subscribers if their Theatre Alberta memberships expire or lapse, as Theatre Buzz subscribers can unsubscribe themselves at any time.
If you are receiving Theatre Buzz, you either are or at one point were a Theatre Alberta member, or you chose to subscribe to Theatre Buzz through our website or through iContact (our email marketing service).
If you no longer wish to receive Theatre Buzz, please click here to UNSUBSCRIBE - or you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link at the top left of the newsletter, or the Manage Your Subscription link at the very bottom of the newsletter.
Theatre Alberta will also occasionally contact our members and the wider theatre community with direct email using our database in our office in Edmonton (i.e. not through iContact or other email marketing service.) If you receive Theatre Buzz, it is likely we also have your email address in our database. If you do not want to receive direct emails from Theatre Alberta and would like your information removed from our database, please email theatreab@theatrealberta.com and let us know.
One of Theatre Alberta's core charitable purposes is to "educate and increase the public's understanding and appreciation of the theatre arts in Alberta." We hope you continue your subscription to Theatre Buzz and/or utilize our other information and resource services, such as our library, our website, our social media sites (see buttons above), and All Stages Magazine.
