To our Members:
Alberta Culture Days 2012 are upon us!
Alberta Culture Days, which is part of the Canada-wide Culture Days movement, is a three-day celebration of Alberta’s unique blend of peoples and passions and the importance of arts and culture to building healthy and vibrant communities.
Now in its fourth year, Alberta Culture Days is spearheaded by the Government of Alberta and runs throughout the province on the weekend of September 28, 29 & 30. The event includes activities of all sizes, from impromptu sidewalk chalk art exhibitions to black tie symphony concerts – featuring something for everyone!
Theatre Alberta and the Writers’ Guild of Alberta are partnering up for an event this Saturday, September 29. The Theatre Alberta Library is hosting an open house from 10:00am to 3:00pm – come by to browse through our collection and meet our staff. At 1:00pm two fantastic Alberta playwrights – Nicole Moeller and Katherine Koller – will read from their work and answer your questions about playwriting in Alberta.
We hope to see you on Saturday! Bring your friends! More info here.
