LIBRARIAN'S TIPS - MAKE 2010 A FINE FREE YEAR

If your New Year’s Resolution is to have a fine free year then you will find the following tips useful:

  • Books are stamped with the due date on the back cover.

  • To renew books phone or email the library before the books are due and in most cases we can renew your books for another 28 days.  (The only time we can’t is when someone else has reserved them)

  • To return books in Edmonton we have a book drop located outside the office doors when the office is closed. Check the Theatre Alberta website for building hours. For our out of town members we supply you with a return mail label when we send the books. If yours goes missing let us know and we can always send a new one.

  • Fines can add up rapidly at $0.25 per day. If you have ten books out, that’s $2.50 per day. Once fines are over $3.00 your membership is suspended and you can no longer place reserves online, renew your books, or register for any programs Theatre Alberta sponsors without paying your fine.

LIBRARY HOURS

Regular library hours resume as of January 4, 2010. The library is open Monday to Saturday, 10am to 3pm.
