This is it. The time has come. Albertan theatre enthusiasts and Theatre Alberta members will finally have the pleasure of engaging in a dialogue like no other, with the launch of our province’s very own theatre magazine: All Stages. Theatre Alberta’s inaugural publication features important issues, inspiring stories, a technical column, and excerpts of new unpublished plays by Albertan playwrights and artists. NEW ACQUISITIONS IN THE LIBRARY!
The librarians are actively collecting and cataloguing 2009's new additions to the library - including plays by Margaret Atwood, Larry Tremblay, Catherine Banks, Dennis Foon, Daniel McIvor, Tim Carlson, Beth Graham and Daniela Vlaskalic, and Margo Kane.
Check out the new collections of monologues and plays like Humana Festival 2008, and Hot Thespian Action! - a collection of plays published for the 50th anniversary of the Walterdale Playhouse. Look for more new titles as the summer progresses.
LIBRARY HOLIDAY HOURS
Just a reminder that Theatre Alberta's library will be closed Saturdays beginning June 6, 2009 through to September 5, 2009. The library will reopen on Saturday September 12, 2009.
