WE ARE HERE TO HELP!
Theatre Alberta works to ensure that Artstrek is accessible to all Albertans. We offer a limited number of partial scholarships for students in financial need. Scholarships range from 25% to 75% of the Artstrek registration tuition. You can apply for an Artstrek Scholarship as part of your registration.
The deadline to apply for an Artstrek Scholarship is May 15, 2026. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need until all available funds have been allocated. Questions about scholarships? Don’t hesitate to get in touch! Email us at artstrek@theatrealberta.com.
When applying for a Theatre Alberta Artstrek Scholarship, as part of your registration, we ask that you or a parent/guardian:
- Describe why it’s important for you, the student, to attend Artstrek.
- Briefly explain your financial situation (no documentation is required), and let us know how much of the tuition you can cover on your own.
Theatre Alberta awards Artstrek scholarships based on financial need. Please note that all Artstrek students must pay the $50 + GST registration fee when filling out the registration form.
We understand that matters concerning financial need can be sensitive. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us before registering to discuss your specific situation. Please contact artstrek@theatrealberta.com.
Anyone interested in supporting Artstrek students with their tuition can donate to our annual Artstrek Scholarship Campaign or fund a student directly. Our Artstrek Scholarship Campaign usually launches at the end of May, and donations to and sharing of the fundraiser are critical ways to support us!
