WE ARE HERE TO HELP!

Theatre Alberta strives to ensure that Artstrek is accessible to all Albertans regardless of financial ability. We offer a limited number of partial scholarships for applicants in financial need. Scholarships typically range from 25% to 75% of the Artstrek application fee. You can apply for an Artstrek Scholarship as part of your online application.

There is no deadline for Artstrek Scholarships but they are handed out on a first come/first serve basis until all scholarships are claimed. Questions about scholarships? Don’t hesitate to get in touch! Email us at artstrek@theatrealberta.com.

When applying for a Theatre Alberta Artstrek Scholarship, as part of your online application, we ask that you or a parent/guardian:

  1. Describe why it’s important for you to attend Artstrek.
  2. Briefly explain your financial situation (no documentation is required), and let us know how much of the fee you could cover.

Theatre Alberta awards Artstrek scholarships based on financial need. Please note, we request that scholarship applicants provide a portion of the Artstrek program fee. This portion may be sourced from a community sponsorship.

We understand that issues concerning financial need can be sensitive. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us before beginning the online application to discuss your specific situation. Please contact artstrek@theatrealberta.com.
