Funding opportunities for students planning to attend Artstrek 2023 are listed below. These include sponsorships and scholarships offered by organizations across the province.

If you are interested in sourcing funding from within your community to attend Artstrek, Theatre Alberta has the information and resources to help. Here are some tips to get you started:

- Keep an eye out on this page for updates about specific opportunities that we can share with you.
- We suggest you contact at least three organizations initially.
- A good approach would be to begin with a phone call, to find out which organizations are interested in speaking with you further.
- Send an information package to those organizations. Your package should include information about who you are and the kinds of theatrical or artistic work you have done. Theatre Alberta has support material for download at the top of this page. You may email artstrek@theatrealberta.com to receive your support material. It is important that you include a letter outlining what you hope to gain from attending Artstrek and how you see this as a positive contribution to your community.
- A follow-up phone call requesting an interview is also suggested.
- During the interview, you might offer to write an article for your potential sponsor’s newsletter or give a presentation to their group when you have completed the Artstrek program.
