AUDITION NOTICE – THE THEATRE

Ulster American by David Ireland
Directed by Jakob Schaefer & Abagail Vanmerlin

Ulster American by David Ireland (The Fifth Step) was awarded “Best of Edinburgh” in its 2018 world debut. Woody Harrelson starred in London’s West End Premiere (2023-2024), and Matthew Broderick in the American premiere in New York (2026).

Ulster American is a dark and outrageous satire. What happens when the accepted status quo is questioned, used as a moral weapon, a personal brand, an identity, or the truth?

Canada’s English-language debut.
