Auditions (Calgary): Little Mermaid – FlipSide Theatre

FlipSide Theatre is a Calgary-based Filipino-Canadian theatre company creating imaginative, heartfelt productions for audiences of all ages. With a focus on accessible storytelling, strong ensemble work, and artist development, FlipSide crafts theatre that is warm, magical, and meant to be shared by families.

Little Mermaid is an original Filipino musical adaptation inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s timeless tale. The story follows Jewel, a spirited young princess of the underwater kingdom of Aquatica, whose encounter with a prince from the world above challenges her understanding of love, freedom, and self-determination.

We are looking to fill several roles for the musical. Artists from ALL different cultural backgrounds are welcome to apply. As FlipSide is a non-equity semi-professional company, artist honorariums are to be paid.
