Auditions (Alberta): Workshop for A Concrete Jungle Book – StoryBook Theatre

PAID WORKSHOP OPPORTUNITY

StoryBook Theatre, in partnership with Forte Musical Theatre Guild, is seeking a strong and diverse mix of musical theatre performers of all ages to participate in an upcoming paid workshop of Joe Slabe’s new musical, A Concrete Jungle Book.

Inspired by Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book, this newly revised musical follows Michael, a foster child with a vivid imagination. When the world around him becomes overwhelming, Michael retreats into the rich inner landscape of his mind, where the people in his life transform into characters from his favourite story. Like Mowgli, Michael is caught between two worlds—and must ultimately discover where he truly belongs.

The workshop will take place in Calgary and is open to both Equity and Non-Equity performers.
