Freewill Shakespeare Festival, 2024, Assistant Stage Manager

Submission Deadline: Friday April 19, 2024 before 5pm MST.

We are searching for an Assistant Stage Manager for this year’s festival. Freewill is a member of PACT and operates under CAEA contracts. Preference will be given to Canadian Actors Equity members and those who have significant professional experience and are ready to join Equity. Having experience working outdoors is an asset. You must be an Edmonton local.

Freewill Shakespeare Festival produces the works of William Shakespeare in the outdoor Heritage Amphitheatre with professional Canadian actors, directors, designers and technicians. We are committed to hiring local artists to illuminate in a bold, contemporary way the humanity of Shakespeare, and explore the relevance of those themes for contemporary audiences.

Rehearsals: May 27 – June 16
Tech Week: June 18
Opening: June 20
Closing: July 14th
