Rapid Fire Theatre is seeking an enthusiastic Marketing Manager with leadership experience! This position will drive innovative strategies to elevate RFT's brand to new heights!

RAPID FIRE THEATRE – MARKETING MANAGER

Compensation: $1,800/month
Hours: 15-20 hours/week

ORGANIZATION PROFILE:
Rapid Fire Theatre (RFT) is Edmonton’s longest‐running improv comedy company; producing weekly shows in Edmonton, as well as corporate and festival touring abroad. Rapid Fire Theatre is a non‐profit organization. The RFT mission states that: We are a community of improv leaders that provide frickin’ great experiences through engaging performances and transformative education. The organization has recently opened Edmonton’s newest live performance venue; The Rapid Fire Exchange. Our yearly programming volume includes 350+ performances, 4 festivals, 40+ public workshop opportunities, 100+ event entertainment bookings, and continuous outreach, BIPOC, and youth initiatives.

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual with extensive marketing experience to lead our Marketing team. The intent of this position is to:
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and enhance ticket sales.
Analyze marketing data (e.g., campaign performance, customer feedback, website traffic) to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts and identify areas for improvement.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Marketing Manager is a member of the Administrative team at RFT and reports directly to the Executive Director (ED).
This is a directorial position that functions with authority from the ED to lead the Marketing team to drive results.
This position is expected to coordinate all marketing efforts of RFT.

RESPONSIBILITIES SUMMARY:
Strategic Planning:
In collaboration with the Executive Director and Artistic Director, develop comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company objectives.
Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and consumer preferences.

Campaign and Brand Management:
Plan and execute marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including outdoor, digital, print, social media, and events.
Collaborate with creative teams to produce compelling marketing materials and assets.
Monitor campaign performance, analyze results, and optimize strategies on a weekly basis to maximize ROI.
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution of campaigns.

Digital Marketing:
Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including website management, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and social media campaigns.
Stay updated on digital marketing trends and emerging technologies to incorporate into strategies.

Analytics, Reporting, and Financials
Utilize analytics tools to track key performance metrics and provide insights into marketing effectiveness.
Prepare regular reports on campaign performance, ROI, and other relevant KPIs for management review.
In collaboration with the ED, create and maintain budgeted expenses for the Marketing department.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:
Lead the team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, feedback, and support. Foster collaboration across departments to achieve optimal results and identify room for growth!

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
Strong understanding of marketing principles, techniques, and best practices.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
A “Yes, and” leadership style that empowers team members.
Very strong organizational skills, including balancing multiple responsibilities and effectively meeting deadlines.
Experience working with; WordPress, Google Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Slack, Google Analytics, AdWords, and social media management tools.

ASSETS:
Knowledge of Rapid Fire Theatre’s programming and brand identity.

NICE TO HAVE:
Experience with graphic design and video editing.
Experience with Showpass/ticketing softwares.
