ENGAGEMENT COMPANY AND OUTSIDE DATES
Vertigo Theatre (Calgary) – rehearsals begin October 22, 2024; opens November 21, 2024; closes December 15, 2024. Potential extension to December 21, 2024.

PRODUCTION DESCRIPTION
Agatha Christie’s world-renowned detective returns! A cast of six actors play over 30 roles in this Canadian Premiere. An exhilarating and spirited adaptation of Christie’s classic mystery with her greatest and most beloved detective… Hercule Poirot!

ROLES TO BE CAST:
WOMAN ONE
Woman age: 50s-60s. Plays various characters utilizing French, German, British, and Dutch accents. Should have a strong sense of character comedy. Must be skilled with “precise, near-immediate character changes”.

MAN ONE
Man age: 50s-60s. Plays various characters utilizing French, and British accents. Should have a strong sense of character comedy. Must be skilled with “precise, near-immediate character changes”.

WOMAN TWO
Woman age: 20s-30s. Plays various characters utilizing French, Dutch, and British accents. Gymnastics, acrobatics, or stunt training are an asset. Must be skilled with “precise, near-immediate character changes”.

MAN TWO
Man age: 30s. Plays various characters using French and British accents. Should have an overinflated sense of self-importance. Must be skilled with “precise, near-immediate character changes”.

AUDITION DATES
Sunday, March 24th, 2024. 10am – 6pm.
Monday, March 25th, 2024. 10am – 6pm.

CASTING PROCESS
Selected candidates will be provided with scenes to work from during the auditions.

HOW TO SUBMIT
We would like to request a submission package consisting of a headshot and resume.

Please submit packages through the following link by 11:59pm on Sunday, March 10th, 2024: SUBMIT

*We will not be collecting hard copies of headshots and resumes at the audition. The audition
panel will receive them all electronically.

CAEA Members will be given first priority.
