Whether you’ve never stepped on a stage before, or you’re just getting back out there after a break, this workshop is for you!

This workshop will introduce participants to the concept of theatre intimacy, its history and its importance in professional and amateur settings. Participants will learn about: Community agreements, Communication, Consent and Boundaries, Exercises/Partner practices, and Care/Closure/Grounding techniques. All of these exercises and techniques are designed to increase ability to communicate boundaries and knowledge in order to advocate for yourself and others. Take home slides/notes and resources will be provided for further learning.
