Stagecoach Theatre Arts, the world’s longest running and most successful performing arts program for children, is looking for qualified Teachers to join our Calgary Team.

Our aim at Stagecoach is to nurture and develop young potential and confidence through singing, acting and dance classes, stretching young imaginations and building confidence. All potential applicants must commit to a 10-week term running on Saturdays.

Our in-person classes run on Saturday afternoons, and we are looking to hire a few great teachers for our upcoming WINTER & SPRING Terms running from Jan.-Jun., 2024.

START DATE: January 13th, 2024


DRAMA TEACHER – Calgary NW – Saturday afternoons
We are looking for an outgoing person who has experience in theatre and working with children aged 6-15. This person should possess strong drama fundamentals, and a passion for sharing your craft with the next generation of performers. The successful applicant must be comfortable blocking scenes; role-play; improv; have a vast knowledge of drama games; comfortable creating characters with the students. Familiarity with Musical Theatre is an asset but not necessary. They must posses a love of stories, have good storytelling skills, and be imaginative, honest, reliable, and professional.

DANCE TEACHER – Calgary SE – Saturday afternoons
We are looking for an outgoing person who has experience in musical theatre and working with children aged 6-15. The ideal applicants should have a strong training, teaching and performance background in dance (jazz/musical theatre preferred). Applicants should also be passionate, positive, committed, creative, have good classroom control, and experience working with groups of children ages 4-16 yrs. The job would include preparing and teaching compelling, quality dance classes and generating material for term performances and productions.

A vulnerable sector police check will be required for all hired teachers.
