Jobs (Calgary): Technical Director – Theatre Encounter

Theatre Encounter is preparing for our biggest ever season, and we’re seeking a creative problem solver and experimental thinker to fill the role of Technical Director for our mainstage production of PRAIRIE MADNESS in March 2024.

PRAIRIE MADNESS is a highly experimental live performance, combining live performance, projected video and light, and the use of 8 industrial drum fans to create the experience of wind inside the theatre space. As a result, the Encounter company is seeking a highly creative and technically-minded individual to coordinate this unusual combination of technical elements.

This is a paid, part-time contract with an anticipated start date in January 2024.
