Rosebud Theatre in Rosebud, Alberta, producing professional live theatre that illustrates the beauty and complexity of life through an inclusive and grace-filled perspective, is hosting a call for submission for its 2024 production of It’s a Wonderful Life: the Radio Play adapted by Joe Landry. This beloved American holiday classic comes to captivating life as a live 1940s radio broadcast. With the help of an ensemble that brings a few dozen characters to the stage, the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolds as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve.
We are interested in submissions from performers of all gender expressions with strong character skills.
The production dates are: Rehearsals from October 21 through November 15, Performances from November 14 to December 22
In-Person Auditions will be held on November 13th & 14th in the evenings and preference will be given to folk who can attend in person. To be considered for an audition, please submit a headshot and resume to bradg@rosebudtheatre.com before end of day November 6th, 2023.
