Rosebud Theatre in Rosebud Alberta, producing professional live theatre that illustrates the beauty and complexity of life through an inclusive and grace-filled perspective, is hosting a call for submission for its upcoming production of Chariots of Fire, stage adaptation by Mike Bartlett.
Set in 1924 and the Paris Olympic Games, the son of an immigrant Lithuanian Jew runs to overcome prejudice and a devout Scottish Christian runs for the glory of God. Two young track athletes who live for the beautiful purity of running and who prevail in the face of overwhelming odds.
We are interested in submissions from athletic performers of all sexes with strong singing voices.
The production dates are: Rehearsals from March 12 through April 5, Performances from April 4 to May 25
In-Person Auditions will be held on November 6th & 7th in the evenings and preference will be given to folk who can attend in person. To be considered for an audition, please submit a headshot and resume to bradg@rosebudtheatre.com before end of day November 1st, 2023
