GENERAL AUDITIONS
Shadow Theatre and Northern Light Theatre

Will be jointly holding general auditions on Thursday November 2nd and Friday November 3rd, 2023, at the Varscona Theatre. Present will be John Hudson (Artistic Director) and Lana Hughes (Artistic Director Fellow) and Trevor Schmidt (Artistic Director) for Northern Light Theatre.

Auditions will be held from 10 am to 5 pm – in 15 minute slots. As per CAEA rules, preference will be given to Equity members in booking.

Please prepare two contemporary monologues. If possible, please bring two copies (2) of your photo and hard copy resume. If you are an Equity member, please bring your Equity number for the sign-in sheet.

If we have seen your work in our auditions within the past 3 years or if we are familiar with your work, we do not feel that you need to audition again. Instead, please feel free to update your interest with us for upcoming productions.

Shadow Theatre and Northern Light Theatre are committed to reflecting the diversity of our community on stage and facilitating a work space where people are comfortable in a creation process, and can be themselves in every capacity.
