We’re back to cause a riot!
YOUth Riot is back for its tenth year!! A place for creativity and community, YOUth Riot is a FREE creative writing program for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth.
Originally conceived and presented with Third Street Theatre, and through the generous sponsorship of The Chinook Fund, APN is proud to offer this FREE program to queer young people province-wide between the ages of 14 – 21.
Participants will meet with guest artists who will help them learn creative writing skills. This is also a great opportunity to meet other queer youth while creating and imagining in a safe space. The program culminates in a weekend masterclass panel from prominent, national queer artists, as well as a showcase of participants’ work presented by professional actors and directors from the theatre community.**
