Auditions (Edmonton): White Christmas – NUOVA Vocal Arts

NUOVA Vocal Arts will be holding auditions for our production of White Christmas on September 5th, 6th & 7th from 7-10PM in Edmonton

Rehearsal Schedule:

  • November 5th, 12th, 19th & 26th & December 3rd from 2:30-6:00pm
  • December 7th – 19th from 6-10pm
  • Weekday rehearsals will take place in Edmonton and will be in the evenings, and weekend rehearsals during the daytime. Anticipate 2-4 rehearsals per week

*please note performers engaged as the four leads (Bob Wallace, Phil Davis, Betty Hayne & Judy Haynes) will be paid artists. Equity artists will be paid under an Equity DOT contract and these artists will be required for daytime rehearsals. Rehearsals will begin on December 6th

In attendance at the auditions will be Kim Mattice Wanat (Director) & Simon Abbott (Music Director)

If you are unable to make the in-person auditions for White Christmas, you can send a video submission in to Please note artists will need to be able to work as a local as we cannot provide accommodations.
Please include the following in your video submission:
1. An Irving Berlin song
2. A short monologue
3. If you have any dance reel please include

DEADLINE TO APPLY & for Videos: September 4th, 2023
Auditions will be reviewed as they are received. We will be sending out sides and a song to those who are auditioning. Please prepare the materials. Sides for the scenes do not need to be memorized, however we ask the song is memorized. There will be an accompanist provided for you at your audition
