A Magic Christmas at Capitol Theatre in Fort Edmonton Park. Come be a part of the magic.

The Edmonton Pops Orchestra is looking for well-rounded performers to form a diverse ensemble for a brand-new holiday story.

You’ll rehearse and perform with the guidance of professionals in their craft to build a beautiful holiday experience. You may also be considered for other Edmonton Pops Orchestra performances.

Audition date: Sunday, Sept. 3 6:30-10 p.m.
Audition location: Shelley’s Dance Company (424 – 8170 50 St NW)

Performance date: Saturday, December 23
Performance venue: Capitol Theatre, Fort Edmonton Park

Rehearsal schedule: Every Sunday, 6:30 – 9:30 p.m., starting Nov. 19
Dress rehearsals: December 21/22, 6:30 – 9:30 p.m.

Synopsis:
Help us make Christmas come alive at Fort Edmonton Park! With your favourite Christmas songs, A Magic Christmas is filled with singing, dancing, and an original story sure to melt the heart. Be a part of the magic in the nostalgic Capitol Theatre with the Edmonton Pops Orchestra.

Audition requirements: Please prepare your favourite holiday song and be prepared to demonstrate your movement/dance ability. Visit https://edmontonpops.ca/amagicchristmas to book your audition.

If you are unable to attend the in-person audition, video auditions will also be accepted until 11:59 p.m. MT on Sunday, September 3. Email info@edmontonpops.ca with a link to a video recording of yourself singing your favourite holiday song and demonstrating your movement / dance ability. Please ensure that your video is accessible to anyone with the link.

Please note: The ensemble will not receive remuneration for this event.
