Call for Submissions (National): Scripts on Fire New Play Competition – Fire Exit Theatre

We are pleased to announce that our 7th Annual SCRIPTS ON FIRE NEW PLAY COMPETITION is now open!

We are dying to hear what you’ve all be writing about. What new stories need to be birthed into the world.
We love coming alongside new plays and playwrights to support the process of getting Canadian work from the pages to the stages.
The winner receives $500, a dramaturgy session, workshop, and staged public reading of their piece.

We love stories about what you believe or don’t believe, and why. Stories of the complexities of being human and of having a soul. Of living in community and finding God in everyone.

Make us laugh and cry and think.

We tell stories that matter.
