Classes (Calgary): 2023-2024 Youth Education Programs – Pumphouse Theatre

2023-2024 YOUTH EDUCATION PROGRAMS

Is your child looking for an opportunity to be creative and dramatic? Look no further than the historic Pumphouse Theatre.

The Pumphouse Theatre has been educating Calgary’s youth in the world of drama for over 50 years. Thousands of children have come through our doors and left with lifelong memories, experiences, friends, and important life skills. We are dedicated to arts education and teaching our future generations the importance of theatre with small class sizes, professional instruction, and an inclusive, safe, fun and creative environment.

The Pumphouse Theatre programs year round drama classes – in the Fall, Winter, and Spring – for youth aged 6 to 17. All classes are held once a week for ten weeks, and are taught by enthusiastic, caring, and experienced instructors. From theatre basics to improvisation, we have something for everyone!

Did you know that we also host drama day camps in the Winter, Spring, and Summer? Your young artist could join in the fun of our week long sessions learning drama skills, making new friends, and creating original performances for friends and family.

Visit our website, www.pumphousetheatre.ca, and check out the classes and camps tab more information including course descriptions, dates, pricing & discounts, and how to register. Registration for all of our 2023-2024 classes will open July 12th, and registration for our camps will open in the late Fall and early Winter.

Got a question? We love to chat! Contact Kelly Malcolm, Programming Director, at kelly@pumphousetheatre.ca or by calling 403.263.0079 ext 100.

We hope to see you at the theatre!
