Call for Non-Equity Musical Theatre Performers and Non-Equity Actor/Musicians

Alberta Musical Theatre Company is seeking trained non-equity musical theatre performers and non-equity actor/musicians for an in-person Alberta school tour of their brand-new musical adaptation of Cinderella, inspired by 80s music and pop culture, in the 2023/2024 season!

AMTC is currently casting 4 performers
(Actor/Musicians are encouraged to submit, though it is not a requirement that actors play an instrument)

How to Submit
To submit, please send an email to farren@albertamusicaltheatre.ca containing your resume and a cover letter that includes a bit of who you are, as well as a description of your experience and training. Farren will follow up with an audition time.

What to Prepare
We request that performers prepare and perform one full musical theatre ballad under four minutes that showcases their voice and acting ability, as well as a short comic monologue. An accompanist will be provided. We also ask that actor/musicians prepare a small piece on the instrument of their choice that reflects their skillset. Farren Timoteo is available prior to auditions for questions and consultation regarding the audition process. Additionally, the audition rubric used to appraise audition participants is available upon request. Farren Timoteo and Stephanie Urquhart will be present in the room with an audition accompanist, who is yet to be determined.
