Jubilations Dinner Theatre is welcoming actors to submit video auditions for their multiple show season. We are very interested in seeing performers from all backgrounds, ethnicities, and abilities. Actors are invited to submit for two different kinds of shows:

•  Our MainStage shows are adult and family three-act musicals performed primarily in the evenings Wed-Sun. MainStage shows tour our three theatres in Calgary, Edmonton and Winnipeg.
• Our Junior shows are TYA (geared to ages 4-12 and their families) two-act musicals performed primarily as a matinee on Saturdays. Jr shows are performed locally in either Calgary, Edmonton or Winnipeg.

MainStage actors will be contracted per city, with 3 weeks of rehearsal and performing approximately 10 weeks in each city. There is a two week dark period between cities. An accommodation allowance is given, over and above weekly pay amount for Calgary and Edmonton. Accommodations are provided in Winnipeg. Performers are paid weekly for a contracted number of shows. Actors are required to improvise throughout the event before and between the acts but are not required to serve.

Junior actors have 2 weeks of rehearsal and approximately 8 Saturday matinee shows with the possibility of an additional show or two added if the run sells out. Actors must be available for all performances in their particular city and are not required to tour. There are no accommodations or living per diem provided. MainStage actors may also be able to perform in the Jr show as the showtimes will not overlap. Performers are paid a lump sum for rehearsals and a set wage per show for a contracted number of shows. Actors are required to improvise throughout the event before and between the acts but are not required to serve.

Interested performers can send in a video audition which includes:

• One pop or rock song that showcases your voice best
• A short comedic monologue
