Amanda Wingfield is a faded remnant of Southern gentility who now lives in a cramped St. Louis apartment with her aimless son Tom and her debilitatingly shy daughter Laura. When a gentleman caller arrives for dinner, the Wingfield family is flooded with hope. But it’s uncertain if this mysterious visitor will change things for the better.
The Glass Menagerie is presented by Rosebud School of the Arts Artists-in-Training for Theatre Production and Performance, a cornerstone class in Rosebud Theatre & School of the Arts’s Mentorship curriculum. This course is central to students’ growth as theatre artists by giving them a chance to gain valuable production experience and perform in front of a live audience.
