Learn to be a Stage Manager
We are hosting a workshop on Stage Managing in partnership with Ambrose Arts and Theatre Alberta.
6 hours of instruction – $40
You will learn about rehearsal etiquette, protocols and hierarchy.
Your role in auditions, rehearsals, tech week and production run.
How to track blocking, to schedule, do reports and call a show.
Our instructor is Raynah Bourne:
Rayanah is a busy stage manager and production assistant.
Select credits include Calgary Stampede Grand Spectacular, The Only Good Boy (Theatre BSMT), The Three Little Pigs, The Hudson Bay Epic, Get Down, Fire and Rain (New West Theatre), Lethbridge Winter Games Rally (Allied Arts Council), That Men May Fly and The Boy’s Own Jedi Handbook (Empress Theatre), Dr. Faustus (Ambrose Arts). And is currently stage managing the Canadian tour of A Dinosaur Tale (Annerin Productions). Raynah holds a B.F.A from the University of Lethbridge, where she served as the Artistic Director of TheatreXtra in 2014.
