Classes (National): Engagement and Audition Events – Canadian College of Performing Arts

Founded in 1998 and known Nationally as one of the most uniquely focused training programs in western Canada, the Canadian College of Performing Arts (CCPA) in Victoria, BC has over 700 alumni who have successfully entered the industry as performers and active artistic leaders. The CCPA is offering upcoming engagement and audition events taking part virtually and in-person.

CCPA also offers a unique conservatory-style post-secondary training programs, where emerging artists receive intensified skill-based alternatives to academically oriented university programs:

Classes are rigorous, personalized, and offered at the highest professional standards from expert instructors, mentors, and guest artists. In addition to classes, workshops, and rehearsals, students must complete Professional Development Credits to expand their experience beyond the classroom in areas such as Arts Administration and Production.

All our programs offer dynamic performance opportunities, professional collaborations with current industry practitioners, and a higher number of program hours compared to CCPA’s competitors, resulting in a total of 85% of graduates working professionally one year after graduating as:

  • Performers working on nearly every stage in Canada, on Broadway, and in film, television and recording studios,
  • Creators, writers, composers, and choreographers adapting their art form to the ever-changing mediums of performance,
  • Arts administrators leading Canada’s cultural community,
  • Teachers and mentors nurturing the artists of tomorrow.

To register for an event contact registrar@ccpacanada.com at least 48hrs in advance of the event with your name, contact details, and desired event. We will follow up with all essential details, including zoom links for virtual events and arrival information for any events on campus.
