Auditions (Edmonton): Musical Improv Conservatory – Grindstone Theatre School

The Musical Improv Conservatory is an audition-based program for those interested in professional musical improv performance. Those chosen for the conservatory will participate in a weekly improv training session led by improviser Mhairi Berg and accompanist Erik Mortimer.

The conservatory is a 8 week ensemble program which concludes in participants creating and performing in 3 Musical Improv shows as part of the programming at The Grindstone Comedy Theatre. The Conservatory consists of 8 classes, 8 performances (a cast of 4 will perform in each show) and 7 rehearsals.

CLASS DATES:
Tuesdays | January 17 – March 7 | 6:00 – 8:00pm

PERFORMANCE DATES:
Wednesdays | March 8 – April 26 | 9:00 – 10:00pm

REHEARSAL DATES:
Tuesdays | March 14 – April 25 | 6:00 – 8:00pm

HOW TO APPLY
Auditions will take place on Tuesday, December 6th, 2022 from 6:00 – 8:00pm.
