Identify which role you wish to audition for.

We will be auditioning for the following roles:

  • FRANK ABEL: 41 years old, married to Joanne for 11 years. Stay at home dad; certainly more maternal of the couple. Used to sell real estate, now is focused on finding a laundry detergent that will really keep their whites white and on deciding between Spanish and French for his toddler twins second language.
  • JOANNE ABEL: 40 years old, married to Frank. Brings home the bacon as a Sales Rep for Forbidden Fruit Winery. Driven in her career and uber organized in her role as wife and mother. Has a plan for everything. Obsessed with self-help podcasts.
  • MARION ABEL: early 70’s, Franks mother. Lives in the basement of Frank and Joanne’s home. Very grandmotherly. Makes great pie. Sternly religious. Because her voice is so sweet you almost miss how sarcastic and patronizing, she can be. Has strong opinions and isn’t afraid to share them
  • EGG 1: A writer.
  • EGG 2: A serial killer.
  • EGG 3: A scientist.

Fire Exit Theatre is a non-equity semi-professional theatre company. Actor honorariums are paid.
