Calling all young musical theatre enthusiasts!!
If your child loves singing, acting and dancing, or if they’ve never tried it but think they might like it, you should most definitely consider signing up for Sky’s The Limit Youth Theatre’s musical theatre performance class!
We help students discover/further nurture their love of performing by providing them with an opportunity to experience what it’s like to rehearse for a full blown musical production! You do not need to audition to participate in the class but we will be holding auditions over the first couple classes in order to cast the show!
This year we will be helping students develop skills in acting, singing and dancing through rehearsals for our production of Into the Woods Jr!
Here’s a little bit about the show…
Be careful what you wish for, as Stephen Sondheim’s and James Lapine’s cockeyed fairytale comes to life in this adaptation of their groundbreaking, Tony Award-winning musical. Into the Woods JR. features all of your favorite characters — Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack (and his beanstalk) and the Witch — in this lyrically rich retelling of classic Brothers Grimm fables.
The musical centers on a baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King’s festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a witch’s curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse, and wind up changed forever.

1st day of rehearsal: October 22nd 2022
Dress rehearsal/performance dates: May 11th – 14th 2023 (These dates will require evening availability on the Thursday/Friday and full day availability on the weekend).
Tuition: $550 per student
Age range: 8-16 year olds
