Bob and Jennifer Jones are middle-aged and dissatisfied with their situation. Their young, new neighbours, John and Pony Jones, pretend to have a light and bubbly life. When these two couples meet, their interactions draw out topics none of them want to discuss, and they all discover they share more than just a last name.
