Classes (Calgary): Physical Theatre Intensive – Green Fools

Join us for a weekend of Physical Theatre! Learn from Green Fools Artistic Director, Dean Bareham. Through corporeal mime exploration, movement, and improvisation exercises, you will explore the Masked Body as a performance tool, physical characterization using neutral masks, full, and half face character masks. You will develop physical character through movement including; slapstick, clown, and the darker side of clown – bouffon. This course is ideal for students, performers, or anyone interested in exploring physical performative acting techniques. Perfect for the ambitious, the curious, and the fearless.
