What’s On (Calgary): Two One-Act Plays on Seniors Seeking Relationships – FLC Seniors Acting Club

The FLC Seniors Acting Club is pleased to announce its annual performances that delve into the many facets of seniors’ lives. In this offering, we are exploring the theme of dating and seeking relationships as seniors.

Cornbread and Beans is written by Earl Reimer, directed by Mya Hands and stars Terry Brown, Trish Clark and Carolyn Wright-Stronski. Two seniors, who hire a dating service, meet in a restaurant for the first time. See the sparks fly…

Lollipop, Anyone? is an original play written by FLC Acting Club member Carolyn Wright-Stronski, dramaturgy by Trevor Rueger, directed by Helen Young and stars Rose Bene, Dianna Campbell-Smith, Randy Day, Jeff Gottfredsen, Ron Kuehne and Normandie Sproule. Seniors living in a retirement residence resort to some clever tactics to form relationships with other single seniors.
