Call for Piano Players and Non-Equity Musical Theatre Performers

Alberta Musical Theatre Company is seeking trained non-equity musical theatre performers and piano players for an in-person Alberta school tour of their award-winning musical adaptation of Jack and the Beanstalk in the 2022/2023 season!

AMTC is currently casting 3 performers and 1 piano player

HOW TO SUBMIT
To submit, please send an email to [email protected] containing a cover letter that includes a bit of who you are and a description of your experience and training. Farren will follow up with an audition time. A resume is not required for the first stage of auditions.

WHAT TO PREPARE
We request that performers prepare and perform one full musical theatre ballad under four minutes that showcases their voice and acting ability and a short comic monologue. An accompanist will be provided. We ask that piano players prepare two musical theatre pieces that showcase their ability. Farren Timoteo is available prior to auditions for questions and consultation regarding the audition process. Additionally, the audition rubric used to appraise audition participants is available upon request. Farren Timoteo and Mackenzie Tennessen will be present in the room with an audition accompanist, who is yet to be determined.
