Ambrose Arts is seeking a theatre director as Sessional Faculty for our 2022-23 season.
TH 223 Rehearsal and Performance: Contemporary Play (This is a production based course led by a professional theatre director – please submit professional Directing resume for this position)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Developing course syllabus to fulfill approved course description and learning outcomes
- Preparation, teaching, and grading of undergraduate-level course
- Collaborating with others to achieve outcomes in the department production season, if applicable
Qualifications
Candidates should have a Master’s degree at minimum (PhD, MFA, or other terminal degree preferred) in a relevant field by the time of placement. Successful candidates will be committed to high quality teaching and be student centered. We seek candidates whose teaching interests complement and strengthen the Ambrose Arts department at Ambrose University.
