Alberta Theatre Projects is excited to bring back our virtual Spring Break Camp, with a new and exciting twist! This week-long program will take place in two parts: playing and writing. For the first half of the day, everyone will gather online to explore theatre games and learn new skills with our amazing instructors. Then after lunch, our budding young writers (recommended ages 10 to 14) will work to create their own play which will be presented at the end of Friday’s class. Each day will consist of a combination of both active instructional time and independent activities to entertain your child for hours while limiting the screen time required.
No prior experience is necessary! All are welcome!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Each morning, everyone will check in with our instructors who will lead them through large and small group activities, taking breaks in between. The Ages 6 to 9 class will then be dismissed for lunch and in the afternoon, the Ages 10 to 14 class will begin work on their plays.
On Friday afternoon, everyone will be invited back to watch the magnificent creations and say their final goodbyes as a group.
