Freewill Shakespeare Festival produces the works of William Shakespeare in the outdoor Heritage Amphitheatre with professional Canadian actors, directors, designers and technicians. We are committed to hiring local artists to illuminate in a bold, contemporary way the humanity of Shakespeare, and explore the relevance of those themes for contemporary audiences.

  • Stage Manager Prep Week: May 2, 2022
  • Rehearsal begins May 9th, 2022
  • Opening June 16 & 17th, 2022
  • Contract ends: July 10, 2022

We are looking for a Stage Manager for each production as well as an Assistant / Apprentice Stage Manager. Having experience working outdoors is an asset. We operate under the CAEA ITA contract.
