Interested in participating in local theatre? Walterdale Theatre is looking for people excited for the return of theatre to join their Front of House volunteers! Positions available are Front of House Manager, Lobby Volunteer, Box Office Volunteer, and two Audience Volunteers:
Front of House Manager
Prepares the theatre lobby before patrons arrive and checks them in at the door.
Lobby Volunteer
Receives patrons from FOH Manager and checks patron’s proof of vaccination.
Box Office Volunteer
Receives patrons who have not purchased tickets from TIX on the Square from the Lobby Volunteer. Sells tickets to patrons using Square.
Audience Volunteers
Seats patrons in the theatre and helps them exit the theatre at the end of the performance.
Walterdale Theatre, at over 60 years old, is one of Western Canada’s oldest amateur theatre groups. With the exception of a paid part-time Administrator, Walterdale Theatre is operated entirely by volunteers with a love of theatre.
