Workshop (National): Sync Leadership Intensive Programme

Sync Leadership Logo

The Sync leadership intensive programme for 2022 is looking to recruit Deaf and disabled artists and arts managers who have natural leadership qualities in their field and who are keen to forge ahead in their field of practice and persuasion in this new and extraordinary landscape.

The Sync BC programme consists of a new 2 week format: 6 x 3hr sessions for leaders in British Columbia and will run on 28th March 30th 1st, 4th, 6th 8th April in 3hr slots 10am – 1pm (PST: Vancouver) with 3 sessions of one to one coaching along the way. This timing has been set to allow the UK team to realistically deliver with the time difference.

The sessions will be delivered by Sarah Pickthall and Jo Verrent co-founders of Sync, Marc Steene who is a Director of Outside In and a new facilitator will join the team, Alia Alzougbi coaching with Sarah to our 8 participants. We are thrilled that Sean Lee from Tangled Arts + Disability will also join the Sync team as a Canadian contributor and Sync Alumni.

There are 6 places for BC residents and 2 from across Canada.

Application is now open and can be accessed through our website www.syncleadership.com

If you have any queries about the programme, please email us. If applicants wish to apply in a different way then email: syncleadershipcanada@gmail.com or ring Rachael on: 647 745 6166 in day time hours, particularly if there are access requirements that would be useful to share with us now before applying so we can be ready to act upon should a place be awarded.

Never has there been a better time to focus on Deaf and disabled leadership, tapping into our natural resilience and lived experience in all its guises.
