St. Albert Dinner Theatre is excited to announce Sarah Gibson as the director for our upcoming world premiere production of The Two Timers by Rob Wheeler.

SYNOPSIS:

Anne & Allan and Bev & Brian are married couples, friends for years. Allan accidentally set fire to Bev and Brian’s deck and house. Insurance pays for everything but hotel accommodations, so Anne and Allan invite Bev and Brian to share their penthouse apartment with them until renovations are completed. The guys, knowing their wives are good dancers, and being bad dancers themselves, secretly take dancing lessons in preparation for the homecoming party. Anne and Bev return unexpectedly and watch in secret and shock from the front door as Allan and Brian practice dancing together in the living room, so mistakenly assume their husbands are having an affair. Devastated, the wives blame themselves for not paying their husbands enough attention and try to tempt them back into married life with “sex therapy” – increasing sexual frequency to the point it’s more than the guys can handle. More misunderstandings cause the husbands to think their wives are having an affair together and the extra bedtime attention is because they want them to “buy the farm” through sexual overexertion. In the end truth sets them free.
