Prime Stock Theatre is seeking submissions from directors interested in participating in our Bard on Bower Festival in July 2022.

As in previous years, we will present two full plays in rep on our mainstage and a shorter smaller touring show for our Bard in a Box series. We’re especially interested in hearing from voices that have traditionally been underrepresented on Shakespeare’s stage. If there is a Shakespeare play that you’d like to direct for us, please put together your pitch and send it in. We don’t need a detailed analysis, just a brief description of the production you’d like to mount, and how the play speaks to you.

Please include a resume, and tell us about your relationship with Shakespeare. Equity artists will be engaged under the Festival Policy. Please send any questions you might have, along with submissions to Richard Beaune at ad@primestocktheatre.com by February 7.
