WHAT: THE ART OF THE COMMEDIA DELL’ARTE – Imagine the market places of Italy in the 1520’s where Zanni characters wearing half masks improvised and dominated European Theatre. Now imagine a Greek Fable told through this physical style of Theatre called the Commedia dell’Arte. In a series of fun-filled Acting classes, players will begin with expand their vocal and body expressive tools and learn the basic techniques actors use in creating Commedia dell’ Arte: Improvisation, Slapstick Comedy, status, and Masked Characterization.
WHEN: Wednesdays, 5:30-8:30pm from Jan. 12 – Mar. 30, 2022 INVESTMENT: Discount= $290/player if registered by Dec. 29 and for members of the same family. Or Regular = $320/player
