In collaboration with the Art for Social Change National Network, Calgary Arts Development and Trico Changemakers Studio are investigating the landscape of Art for Social Change in Calgary to uncover the practitioners in our city who are using arts to inspire and catalyze social change.
We are inviting you to participate in a survey to help inform a Map of Art for Social Change in Calgary, that will be shared with the Art for Social Change National Network, and aid in the development of a network of practitioners in Calgary. We hope to uncover who is doing the work, how the work is done, and what conditions enable or inhibit Art for Social Change in our city. There will be questions asked for demographic analysis. Participation in this questionnaire is voluntary, and you may decline to answer any or all of the questions or withdraw at any time.
If you have any questions or want clarification regarding this Art for Social Change mapping project, please contact: Sally Njoroge, snjoroge@mtroyal.ca. We would also be grateful if you could forward this opportunity to three (3) other Art for Social Change practitioners/leaders in your network!
The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete and can be found here.
In return for 15 minutes of your time, you will:
- Be entered into a prize draw with a value of $100.
- Receive a copy of the final report detailing who, what, where, and how Art for Social Change/Community Engaged Arts is taking place in Calgary.
- Receive a personal invitation to Regional and National Art for Social change events, where you can network with other practitioners and leaders of Art for Social Change.
- Have your voice heard on enablers and inhibitors of Art for Social change work in Calgary.
Thank you in advance for your participation in the survey!
