Prime Stock Theatre is currently seeking volunteers to join our Board of Directors. If you have an interest in contributing to Central Alberta’s vibrant arts scene, a leadership role helping to develop Red Deer’s professional theatre community might be right for you. We’re seeking diverse, strong and independent voices who will enthusiastically support the company and who will be strong advocates for our creative teams. Experience in governance, fundraising, accounting & finance, law, marketing, and social media would be particularly welcome assets, but are not strictly required.
Board members should expect to serve for a one year term, and to be available for monthly meetings and for participation on committees with a primary focus on organizational policy and company governance. Directors should also bring a desire to volunteer at company events and to attend public performances when possible. With the help of our new Board of Directors, Prime Stock Theatre hopes to re-examine our organization from the ground up and emerge from the pandemic-enforced shutdown with renewed focus and energy.
